Hotel Restaurant Elite Visp

We missed our train to zermatt and found an employee tidying up, who offered us a room at a good price. That saved us a night of hassle. At hotel elite the room was spotless, with a spacious bathroom and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was probably the best included one we had during our Switzerland trip, with breads, meats, eggs, dairy, fruit, and more. I’d definitely stay again.

Heavy snow in the valley left me stranded for the weekend, so I spent two nights at Elite Hotel in a single room. It was very clean and made efficient use of the space. I had dinner there both nights and the meals were delicious. The team is great, though it gets very busy because of the location, so a little patience goes a long way.

I wasn’t a hotel guest, just parked there to visit the bar/Restaurant. On my own, I was completely ignored by the waitress while she served the bigger tables. I waited 20 minutes for a drink just to see how long it would take. I speak German and French, so I’m not sure why it happened. In the end, I went to the bar and got my own drink.

I’ve been here twice. It’s very close to the station and pretty much everything else. Good overall.
