We were staying at another hotel a short walk away and found this lovely little coffee cafe at Hotel Terrasse while looking around town. The coffee was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly. They had all vegan treats: I tried an apple slice one day and ice cream the next. The atmosphere was cute, and I loved walking by the lake and taking in the views. Highly recommend!

There isn't any dining at the hotel, and it could use a general update, which seems to be planned. In summer, the rooms can get hot, and there isn't much shade on the balcony or terrace. The views from both are terrific.

The hotel is conveniently placed, with the train and boat stations both within 300 meters, and there's free parking on site. Our balcony room was lovely, with breathtaking views of Lake Vitznau from there and the dining room. Breakfast had plenty of healthy, tasty choices, and the staff were very nice.

The view from the room was beautiful, and the room itself was very good. Everyone was helpful, especially the receptionist, who was incredibly generous and went out of her way to help. Just book this one, you won't regret it!
