We had a perfect winter weekend getaway, with amazing views and a great spa to unwind in after hiking. The staff were friendly too. Getting to the hotel is a little less convenient than at comparable places nearby, since you have to take a bus that runs every 30 minutes. Still, the price for what you get is really good, and I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel is right beside a Wanderweg, so it's a great spot with a dog. You can walk as far as you like, with fantastic lake and mountain views and lovely quiet surroundings. I drove here for one night with my dog, and the price was very good. I'd recommend it and will probably come back for a little retreat. My room had been nicely renovated, looked modern, and had great air conditioning with air purifying. Wi-Fi was stable and fast, and this was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. Staff were extremely friendly and gave me all the information I needed. The renovated restaurant has big windows and great views, and the food was good. Breakfast was a superb buffet with quality items, and the coffee machine was very good. I tried the steam sauna, which was really good, and the 55C bio-sauna, which was lovely with its big window. The 85C Finnish sauna didn't feel like it was really 85C. I think wind came through gaps in the wooden outdoor building. Throwing water on the stones helped, but it still didn't feel hot enough. The outdoor warm jacuzzi was great on a cold evening, with fantastic mountain views.

The view from my room was absolutely beautiful, and the dining area was great. It's a quiet area, less than an hour from Lucerne, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

Such a peaceful, lovely location, with a free shuttle car into the center. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, the view is stunning, and the people are really friendly. A hidden gem if you're after tranquility and serenity.
