After the long drive straight from the UK, we were grateful for such a warm welcome, even though we arrived late. Dinner was delicious, and the affrogata was a lovely finish. There was plenty of continental choice at breakfast, plus wonderful coffee. It’s close to the Gottard Tunnel, which made it handy for the next part of our journey. Beautiful place, and we’d stay again. You must visit!

An unexpected mishap forced us to stop here. The rooms are basic, but perfectly adequate. What stood out was how kind and welcoming the owner was. In the middle of the night he brought us pizza, food for our dog without any fuss, and even a sleeping mattress for the dog. Thanks for everything!

The owners made a stressful situation much easier when our car trouble left us stranded in Switzerland this summer. We’d been sent to Hotel Sternen because it was near the garage, and they gave us a safe place to sort out how to get home. They also saw our kids needed a little help and offered them food and drinks. The food was amazing, the rooms were great, and the location is breathtaking. Thanks again for such a lovely stay.

We were welcomed very warmly despite arriving late during an unplanned three-day drive home from Sicily. The family rooms were amazing, the room was clean and nice, and our kids especially liked the beds. We enjoyed a beer before turning in, and breakfast was very nice too. The staff were cool, and it’s so beautiful here that we really should come back. Thanks 🙏🏼

Dinner was a lovely mix of local and traditional Swiss food, and the homemade pizza was delicious. Anika and her husband were so nice and helped us with everything we needed during our spontaneous overnight stay. The rooms felt cozy, the beds were super comfy, and everything smelled good. We had a great experience and would recommend it, and come back soon!
