It’s a beautiful old hotel, right opposite a great summer beach, and there’s a pool for winter. The rooms are nice and the views are great, though our kitchen and bathrooms felt a little dated. Service was great, but the restaurant was overpriced for the food quality. There are better options elsewhere in the village.

I come back here often for the spacious, beautiful rooms and stunning views. The wellness and spa spaces are just right for relaxing and clearing your mind. The restaurant is great too, with delicious food, live music, and excellent service.

We found Wellness Hotel Gerbi while looking for a nice place to spend a few days near Lake Lucern, and I’d happily stay there again next year. The hotel has two heated pools, five saunas, a cold plunge, and a dock right on the beach. Our room was spacious by European standards and fit our family of four comfortably. Getting there without a car can be tricky, but the hotel shuttle can take you to or collect you from the ferry docks. I highly recommend the Gerbi.
