Wilderswil is a beautiful area, and the hotel is just a few steps from the railway station. There are two grocery stores by the station, and Interlaken is only a five-minute train ride away. The rooms and hospitality were top notch. It has a lovely countryside feel, and breakfast was very good, with a decent choice. I stayed for two nights.

The complimentary 45-minute jacuzzi session was great after a long day out, with just the right water temperature for tired muscles. Breakfast was delicious and changed a little each day. Staff were friendly and explained the rules clearly at check-in. Shared bathrooms were very clean, and our room had its own sink. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. Bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers. The room soundproofing could be better, but we were so tired from exploring that it didn’t bother us much. I’d highly recommend Edelweiss Lodge.

The stay includes an Interlaken city card, and the prices are affordable. It’s a nice location outside the city.

We booked four days and were watching our budget, so we shared a bathroom. Luckily, the other rooms weren’t occupied during our trip. Getting around was easy since the place is only about 50 meters from Wilderswil station and the bus station. Breakfast had a good spread, including vegan options. I’d recommend it if you’re going to Interlaken.

I visited Edelweiss last summer, and the views from the lodge were gorgeous and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in Switzerland. Guests staying two nights also get a complimentary beverage.
