Jungfrau Hotel

We spent a week here exploring the Jungfau region and had a great time. The room was comfortable and had awesome views, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast and the location were great too. There are good restaurants within easy walking distance. What more could you ask for?

Breakfast was the biggest highlight for me, it was top notch. We stayed for three nights and liked the experience so much we didn’t want to leave. The rooms were spacious enough for two, and the staff were very nice and patient in helping us figure out touristy things to do nearby. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Wildersvil train station, which worked perfectly for day trips to lauterbrunen, Grindelwald, and other Alps villages. If you want to get away from Interlaken’s buzz and enjoy a calm area with beautiful views, this is a good choice. I’d also highly recommend a morning or sunset walk around the lovely neighborhood near the hotel.

Check-in was easy, and the guest card lets you travel free to certain areas. Breakfast was a decent buffet, the room was very comfortable, and the staff were very nice. I stayed recently at Jungfrau Hotel wilderswil and had a lovely time. My room had a beautiful view toward the interlaken side. It’s a short train ride to interlaken and lauterbrunnen, and the train station is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is a good place to stay, but there are things to watch out for that can lead to fines. If you ask for any service or need something, even a simple thing, you may be surprised to find yourself charged a fine. You also need to check out before 11 PM. If you’re even a moment late, they’ll lock your room and make you pay. It feels like being in a museum, where any mistake brings a fine. They seem to deliberately try to make guests pay them. I don’t know whether this treatment is only for Arabs or applies to every nationality.
