Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was the best part of our stay. We also loved the hotel's history and had great service. My husband was here for a business trip, and the hotel is right in central Winterthur, with museums, parks, and the train station all easy to reach. The station is handy if you want to travel beyond Winterthur.

A brilliant restaurant, especially when it comes to the meat dishes.

When I urgently needed the restroom, I was told to go up five floors to the shopping center next door. Thankfully, the restaurant next door was welcoming. That refusal felt inhumane. And the person who turned me away didn't seem like someone who cleans the restrooms every night. Girls, if you're looking for a bit of humanity.

We’re already looking forward to coming back to this little gem. The Tavern at the Cross made our evening: the atmosphere was inviting, the food exquisite, and the service attentive. A wonderful visit.
