6/10. The location is a real plus, close to the railway station, but I had a bad experience with the cleanliness. Luke at reception was amazing, though. He went out of his way to help with an issue and was very professional, which made my stay better.

The rooms were OK, and there’s a bar open 24 hours with a small menu of prepared food. Staff were friendly and efficient, and public transport makes the place easy to reach.

I chose this budget hotel for its handy location when visiting businesses outside Zurich. The price is good for a budget-conscious traveller, as long as you don't expect luxury. The lift wasn't working when I arrived, and the air conditioning was pretty loud.

The staff were so courteous and attentive that they even gave me a current luxury watch magazine as a souvenir, a lovely surprise. I was impressed with the thoughtful amenities and had a refreshing shower with no water spilling out. My room was compact, but cleverly laid out, with sleek furnishings and smart storage that made it feel comfortable and practical. I had a delightful stay at the Ibis Hotel in Winterthur City, Switzerland, and would happily recommend it for its comfort, efficiency and warm hospitality.

My first flight was delayed, so I missed my connection and had to stay overnight in Zurich. The airline arranged this hotel for me. Getting there was fairly straightforward: the trip from Zurich airport took around 30 minutes, with several trains and then several buses.
