The studio is clean, almost new, and fairly priced for Switzerland, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. The space feels far smaller than the advertised area, and the online photos seem to use a wide-angle lens. The 1.60-meter bed leaves only a narrow strip to walk around, and there’s nowhere to store things beyond a small clothes rack. Even the kitchenette is barely a meter across, so the toaster and kettle have to sit on the rack. The bathroom alcove is so cramped that moving around is difficult. There’s another rental next door, whose occupants use the shared terrace and pass right by the studio. You can hear people from next door and upstairs when the studio is occupied. With the windows shut, though, street, train, and church-clock noise is barely audible.

The house is in a lovely, peaceful spot, with parking right outside. We spent Friday through Sunday in the loft, which is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. A few basics were already in the fridge when we arrived, including milk, orange juice, butter, and jam. We’d happily return.

We stayed in the duplex, and the host was both professional and very friendly. He took time to explain the apartment and the area. The attention to detail was lovely, with water, juice, breakfast items, and pretty much everything you might need in a holiday rental. I want to be clear that these are just my experiences, not meant as criticism. The place is quiet, though the church bells ring around the clock, including quarter-hour chimes. I didn't find them bothersome, but light sleepers might. It was 32°C to 40°C during the day, and I missed having air conditioning. It was best not to come back until after sunset. I also wished there were a dishwasher. I'm on vacation and don't want to wash dishes. If you sleep on the sofa bed and are bothered by light, the window by the sink lines up with a streetlamp, which feels like having a headlight shining at you. A mosquito net on the balcony door would also let guests leave it open at night and sleep in the cooler air. Still, 100% recommended.

The host was so kind and accommodating, and even left some treats like jam and butter in the fridge. The apartment itself is spacious and very well equipped. For the price, it was extremely good value, and I can highly recommend it.
