We were comfortable in the spacious two-bedroom apartment for our three nights in mid-May, and liked the decor and well-equipped kitchen. The sink and tub drained slowly, but after we told reception, it was fixed quickly. There’s no daily cleaning, which was fine for us. The cable car is about a three-minute walk away and the train station around 15 minutes. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

We only had four nights, which was the one downside. From our call at Zermatt station to the ride over and check-in, everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and polite. The room was great, and the hotel is near both a ski rental shop and the Matterhorn Express. Breakfast was great too, with very polite women serving coffee. We’d love to return to Zermatt, and would stay at 22 Summits again.

Apartment 40 is close to the Matterhorn-express, about a three-minute walk, and the centre is nearby too. We really liked the two balconies, with their nice view and morning sun until around 14:00. Inside, it was beautifully furnished, with plenty of closet space and good kitchen amenities. Reception was friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay.

The staff were friendly, and they accommodated our room change because the cell phone reception was poor. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the train station, with a cable car to the Matterhorn and a trail to a nearby park close by. The price is budget-friendly, which makes this place easy to recommend. Just note that the coffee wasn’t complimentary.

The eBUS stop right in front made getting to the ski area easy, and Migros was a 10-13 minute walk into town. The apartment itself is beautiful, with a view, warm and cozy fittings, and a kitchen stocked with the pots and pans we needed to cook. The front desk staff were super helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment-style stay in Zermatt.
