Ascot Loft Zermatt

Judith was extremely accommodating and communicative during our Christmas week at Ascot. The location in Zermatt was amazing: shopping, dining, the Sunnegga station, and the ice rink were all within a three-minute walk, with no hike halfway up a mountain to reach them. The view was hard to beat, as you can see in the picture. We had an amazing experience and can't recommend it enough.

Jane went out of her way to help when Haus Ascot had no availability for the August dates we wanted. She owns the studio in Ascot and arranged another apartment near Haus Ascot for us. We would have preferred to stay at Haus Ascot, and plan to next time, but the apartment she found was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Jane doesn't usually do this, and we're very grateful for all her help. We look forward to staying at Haus Ascot next time. The apartment where we stayed also deserves top marks for its lovely accommodation and service. Thank you, Jane.

We were unsure about Haus Ascot before the trip because there weren't many reviews, especially compared with the positive feedback we'd seen for other places. After staying there, we think it deserves more five-star reviews. We've stayed in many apartments around the world and often found they didn't match their online pictures, but Haus Ascot did. My wife is particular about cleanliness, and the apartment exceeded her expectations. The living room, bedrooms, and toilets were spotless, and the bedrooms and living hall had awesome views. The train station is about a 7-8 minute leisurely walk away, and restaurants and a supermarket are close by. Instructions were clear, and check-in and check-out were easy. We happily took the waste to a nearby disposal point on our last day, understanding that some waste in Switzerland has to be sorted and disposed of in specific ways. We also appreciated the lift right next to our front door, since carrying luggage up and down stairs has been a struggle in other European apartments. We were a family of three, staying from 20 to 23 May 2025, and choosing Haus Ascot made for a wonderful time in Zermatt. If you visit Zermatt for a holiday, I'd strongly recommend booking with them. It's one of the best places we've stayed.

Jane shared detailed information and lots of tips, and made us feel welcome. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. With a full kitchen, we could cook for ourselves throughout our stay. We were a family of four in the third-floor west apartment in January 2025, and had a brilliant visit. The location is fantastic, five minutes from the Sunnega funicular for the quickest access to the piste, and also five minutes from the main street and several supermarkets. From the balcony, we had breathtaking Matterhorn views and enjoyed watching life in the gorgeous village below. Highly recommended.
