We found the hotel perfect for a long weekend, and it met all our needs. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the place felt warm and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a decent choice and good coffee. The room was nice, though the bathroom was quite dated. The location worked perfectly for our Five Lakes hike.

For the price, it was suitable accommodation, and I'd stay again. I was there for two nights. The hotel felt a bit dated, about what you'd expect from a three-star place, but it was comfortable. My room was spacious, with a good balcony view, though the bathroom was small, as if they'd traded its space for a larger room. There was only a communal iron, so I couldn't get wrinkles out in my room, and their outlets wouldn't work with my travel steamer. The Wi-Fi was unreliable on the third floor. Still, you're in Zermatt to get away from that stuff.

The facilities felt a little old, and the hotel didn't quite match the standard of Hotel Astoria in Barcelona, where I'd stayed before and where they use The White Company's shampoo. Still, the location was nice, near the town center, and the view of the Matterhorn was good if you got the right room. My room was really nice, larger than I imagined, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was nice too.

We only stayed one night, but the room was roomy and the balcony view was fantastic. The bathroom was clean, and they had a few toiletries for us. Breakfast was decent too. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, though manageable.
