Beau-Rivage

My reservation couldn’t be refunded, but I had to cancel after unexpected geopolitical travel disruptions and flight cancellations. Even so, the hotel team understood and kindly processed a refund. Their compassion and professionalism meant a lot at such a stressful time. I’m very grateful and would love to stay there in the future.

The room was very spacious, with a balcony, and breakfast was really nice. The bathroom isn’t sealed, so some water can get out. Just beside the hotel there’s a viewpoint to the Matterhorn, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even give you chocolate. There’s a shuttle to Zermatt station too. Just ask the staff, we used it when checking out.

We spent one night here and had a clear view of the Matterhorn from the bridge. The family running the hotel were very kind and welcoming. It’s an 8-minute walk from the train station, with lots of shops and restaurants around.

Our standard room had plenty of space for two and came with a mini fridge and tea kettle. It was super clean on arrival and stayed that way during our 5-day visit, with housekeeping coming twice a day to tidy up and change towels. The laundry service was great too. Staff were very nice and professional. The hotel is centrally located for ski season, near both the Sunnegga tram lift and the Matterhorn glacier paradise gondolas. A bus stop is right outside by the ski room they provide, and buses come every 10 minutes. It’s a good-quality place to stay in Zermatt without paying too much. A 5/5 experience, and I’m recommending it to friends visiting Zermatt.
