Hotel Bellerive

The staff were the sweetest, always smiling and very helpful. We stayed in a Junior Suite with three adults and a child. It was clean, luxurious, had everything we needed, and the balcony views were amazing. There was a fake fireplace in the room, and I loved the view. The hotel is perfectly located, 6 minutes from the city centre and 10 from the Matterhorn Gondola (Glacier Paradise). The balcony views are insane. Breakfast was small but a 10/10: salmon and eggs, fresh quality salmon, a great variety of cheeses, homemade jam, all perfect. I’ve tasted salmon in Norway, so I feel qualified to comment on the quality, lol. They don’t serve dinner, but there are lots of nearby restaurants. The jacuzzi was small but cute. Bathrobes are provided, though bring your own slippers if you don’t want to pay for them there. Honestly, it’s the only hotel I’ve ever rated 10/10. The value for money is perfect, and I’d come back again. Thank you, hotel Bellerive.

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff’s friendliness and service made our stay even better. After our days on the mountain, the downstairs spa was a lovely extra. Breakfast was spectacular, and they welcomed us with lots of little gifts. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The rooms at Hotel Bellerive are spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with lovely design that mixes modern comfort and cozy alpine charm. Many have beautiful mountain views, and it’s hard to pull yourself away from the window in the morning. Breakfast is fresh and generous, clearly made with quality ingredients, and a great way to start a day in Zermatt. After time in the mountains, the spa is a peaceful place to unwind. The real difference, though, is the personal care from owners Katja and Mario. Their presence shows in every detail. The place is run with heart and feels warm and welcoming, as if you’re being hosted rather than simply checked in as a guest. They share local suggestions and insight, look after people, and make each stay memorable without being intrusive. Hotel Bellerive is one of those rare places that feels special as soon as you walk in. It’s more than somewhere to sleep, and you leave rested and grateful to have found a place shaped by genuine hospitality, care, and passion.

We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and Katja, Mario, and the whole team somehow made it the best birthday she’s ever had. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived. The warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made the stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond in ways that felt personal and thoughtful, not scripted or corporate. You can feel the heart behind the hotel. Zermatt has so many beautiful hotels, and I’m grateful we chose Hotel Bellerive. It’s the nicest boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in, anywhere, without question. If you’re deciding where to stay, stop looking. We’ll absolutely be back, and this hotel will always be tied to one of our most meaningful celebrations. Thank you, Katja and Mario, for making it unforgettable.
