Hotel Daniela made our honeymoon feel special, and we’re grateful for the memories. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and went out of their way to help with planning, recommendations and anything else we needed. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and even the website made booking and planning easy. You can tell the team truly cares about guests. We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt, and hope to come back someday.

The stay was great from the room and breakfast to the wine, and the people made us feel very welcome. We’re glad we chose this hotel and would happily recommend it. One small snag: our electric car driver on arrival was a bit too aggressive, though the drivers who took us back were much better. Don’t hesitate to book, you’ll love it.

The welcome was what made Hotel Daniela stand out for us. Everyone was warm, thoughtful, and caring from the start, and we were even upgraded to a beautiful room with a Matterhorn view. The room itself was cosy and lovely for a relaxing stay in Zermatt. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices and was delicious. We’d definitely return.

We stayed in December 2025 and had a lovely time. The hotel is near the town’s Main Street, so you can walk everywhere, and the breakfast was wonderful. Staff were friendly, and our clean, well-equipped room had a Matterhorn view. Coffee and free drinks were available during our stay. The heat was the one thing we hadn’t been told about at check-in: the room got very hot, and only the front desk could adjust it. Front desk service varied, with some people very helpful and others less so. We’d gladly come back and recommend it.

There were Nespresso coffee and baked snacks available during the day, and breakfast had a generous mix of hot and cold choices, from breads, meats, cheeses, fruit and yogurt to cooked dishes. Our room was clean and well equipped, with a balcony and a complimentary minibar. We had a very pleasant stay.
