We loved staying in this apartment. It had what our big family needed, and the balcony view of the Matterhorn was a lovely surprise. Just be aware that entry and exit times are strictly followed, and you collect the apartment keys from the hotel about 900 m away, which is a tough walk with lots of luggage. Keeping bags at the hotel after checkout costs extra.

The balcony overlooking the Matterhorn was lovely, and there was plenty of space, plus coin-operated laundry on site. The staff were great, and although check-in is at the hotel, it's an easy walk. Still, I was a bit disappointed with the lower apartment, the one without the beautiful ceilings. Some of the furniture felt cheap and wobbly, it hadn't been fully cleaned, and it wasn't very comfortable overall. It also got too hot, and we couldn't work out how to turn down the heat. There's a children's playground nearby, which could be a plus for some, but don't count on sleeping during the day.

The living room has a stunning Matterhorn view, and the place is really comfortable. It's also very close to Zermatt Hb and Gornergrat bahn.
