A few things could be improved. Guests should be made aware of the underground parking, especially when snow is forecast. We parked outside because we hadn’t spotted the garage entrance, and the car ended up under several inches of snow. It would be good to have conditioner in the showers, and better ventilation in the cigar lounge to prevent the occasional light smell of smoke in the suites corridor. We had a great time, though. The rooms and shared spaces felt cozy, and every employee made us feel comfortable and at home. Dario even came over spontaneously to help clear snow from our car. We liked how secluded the location felt while still being easy to get to things to do, including St Moritz, Engadin Eisweg, Engadin River Ranch and Zuoz ski resort. The hot tub and saunas were fun under the snow, but make sure to book them in advance.

Natural wood runs throughout the interior, and the rooms are a good size, spotless and equipped with everything you’d need. The staff were exceptionally kind, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Tucked away almost out of sight, the hotel seems designed with real respect for the surrounding nature. Most rooms have spectacular views of the opposite mountains, and the terrace is an idyllic spot to relax while hearing the Inn in the distance. A brilliant place for a weekend getaway.

The spa was a highlight: relaxing in the sauna and looking out at the trees was unforgettable. For my birthday, my husband took me to the Alpine mountains and chose the INLAIN Hotel. I was the happiest person on earth. From the start to the end of our stay, we were treated exceptionally well. INLAIN really puts the guest first. My birthday breakfast on the terrace came with an exceptional cake. The only little thing missing was hair conditioner, which is really just a detail.

I spent four days here and can’t think of another team I’ve met that did a better, friendlier, more thorough job of making me comfortable the whole time. The food is spectacular, and the rooms are designed down to the details. The scent of wood throughout the place is something I miss. I went skiing and backcountry skiing, both immediately accessible from the hotel. I’ll definitely come back.
