Weekend service needs some attention. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon after a long flight to find the entrance locked and no staff around. There's a note about limited weekend check-in, but it's easy to miss. When I called the helpline, they sent me to Park Hotel for help. I'd never expect that kind of experience at a four star property. There were no dining options over the weekend either, not even breakfast or basic drinks. The contrast with the busy weekday atmosphere was striking. Weekdays seem geared toward business travelers, with smooth, efficient service and warm, helpful staff when they're present. Thanks to Adi for helping with check-in and to the young lady who helped at check-out. Both were courteous and attentive. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, with a pleasant mix of modern style and subtle charm. It was a comfortable place to unwind after a busy day. The check-in experience was inefficient, though, and the weekend staffing and amenities could use improvement. Keep the limited weekend services in mind and plan your arrival accordingly.

Getting the invoices sorted has been an exhausting mess. I asked the staff to split the business and private expenses onto separate invoices, and after 3 weeks it's still unresolved. I've never had so much trouble with invoices, and the staff haven't been helpful. So much time and energy wasted.

My room was large, quiet, air conditioned, and pleasant, with a beautiful view of trees and plenty of sunlight. The staff were friendly across the board. Breakfast was fine, but hot choices such as an omelette or fried eggs would have made it better.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially when I had a slight medical issue. They really went above and beyond. My room was clean, modern, and functional, and breakfast was decent. I had a comfortable, enjoyable stay at City Garden Hotel in Zug. The location near the train station makes it a strong choice for business travel, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel has stylish rooms and plenty of parking space for larger vans, and it's conveniently close to the business park, railway station, and shopping center. The trees behind the hotel usually make things feel peaceful, except when music is playing on the terrace. A fantastic hotel!
