The noise ruined what we’d booked as a stay for peace and relaxation in the Engadin. We were on the first floor beside a room with a group of 15-20 people. Their door was wide open, and it sounded like a loud house party. We tried to sleep around 9 PM, but the shouting made it impossible. At 10 PM I went to reception to ask how much longer they’d be there. The staff didn’t know and couldn’t offer a solution, and they didn’t even have earplugs. The group left shortly before midnight, and only then could we sleep. It was by far the worst night we’ve had in the Engadin. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need rest. And in response to the reply below: no, they didn’t leave at 22:30. It was shortly before midnight, and this wasn’t a bit of laughing. It was a huge shouting group, like a festival in the middle of the night. Even my friend could hear them through earplugs. It was crazy.

The room was spacious, and we appreciated being able to have two large cups of tea there in the evening. The wooden furniture and the facade both looked lovely, and there were plenty of brochures to choose from. The hotel is a short uphill walk from the train station. We heard some cars, though it wasn't beside a busy road at the end of September. At night there was a steady sound from the heat pump or something like it. One pillow in the cabinet wasn't clean. Breakfast had a good range of bread, though the almond drink didn't seem very fresh and the staff could have been more welcoming.

I've stayed here twice, and the price feels fair for what you get. The location is handy, close to everything, and the rooms are nice and cleaned every day. Breakfast was good too.

We arrived very late, at 23:30, but were still welcomed warmly when we checked in. The staff member was one of the kindest people we've ever met. Sorry I can't remember his name, this was on 25/7. I'd love to recommend that warm, special kindness to all our friends.

The restaurant's short menu had nice dishes, and the service was attentive. For an XC-Ski trip, this was a great place to stay. It's a beautiful old building with solid wood furniture, friendly people, and a great breakfast, including crispy croissants instead of the usual soft Buttergipfeli. There's also a small ski room with a workbench, an XC ski profile, and a ski boot dryer. Recommended!
