The dinner was really tasty, and the staff were kind and polite. It’s a nice place for the price.

The cleaning staff were the exception. Most of the other workers seemed very local-minded or untrained, with little customer service experience. Because of the language barrier, I used a translator and could tell they were speaking rudely. Communication was also difficult unless you speak French. They served the same food for three days, despite guests possibly having dietary restrictions. There is no star for the service. Members to stay away from are listed below. My room was clean and spacious, and the food was fresh and delicious. Everyone, from security and reception to the kitchen and room service, was friendly, helpful, neatly dressed, and efficient. Thank you, Golden Hotel. Well done. I recommend making this your first stop in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire.
