The rooms were roomy, the beds comfortable, and having a fridge was handy. I spent a week here in September 2018. It’s a quiet hotel inside a gated complex, which adds a bit of security. Though honestly, Ivorian people are so welcoming that it didn’t feel especially necessary.

The staff and reception were lovely, and the room service was good, with the beds made neatly each morning. The coffee was tasty and inexpensive too. Still, the price felt high for what you get: my room had no proper toilet seat, some bulbs were out, and the AC in room 109 didn’t work. Avoid that room.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was comfortable for the price. They could communicate a little more in English, though. I’d be happy to stay at Seven Residence again if I visit Abidjan, and I’d recommend it.
