Pullman Abidjan

The hotel felt disorganized from the start. Its entrance is awkward, with steps down to the door, so the car can’t pull up to it. At the gate, three men were working, but none helped with our luggage; they just watched and weren’t friendly. Check-in took around 30 minutes. The room was okay, and the bathroom was clean, but the chair and sofa had stains. The paint on the door frame was still wet, so I got it on me whenever I accidentally touched it. Breakfast was okay too. The restaurant menu is limited, and after we ate there once, my husband got food poisoning. It also took 30 minutes to get ice for a Coke. The pool was closed for maintenance, though I didn’t see any work happening, and they still charge guests for it. They call it a spa, but there’s no steam room or sauna, just a treatment room. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms are nice and the meals are good, and I had a lovely time at Pullman. The staff were wonderful, with special thanks to Kassu and Abdul for helping with check-in and check-out. The musty carpet in the hallways could use some work.

The Sunday brunch at Pullman Restaurant was a hit with my fiancée and me. It was on the expensive side, though the excellent selection of African and Continental dishes made up for that. Jessica, our hostess, was proactive, and we had a great time. I’d say brunch at Pullman is a must on your next trip to Abidjan.

I’m from Kenya, and staying at Pullman felt like being at home away from home. The staff were respectful and so welcoming. Much regards to victoire Frederick bibata. It’s a fascinating place, and I can’t wait to visit again in the near future.
