The neighborhood gets a little noisy, and although the rooms look nice, the service in them is poor. The pool and the restaurant beside it also really need renovation, since the tiles keep coming loose.

As of 2019, this was still the best place to stay in Gagnoa. I spent one night here in 2017 on a business trip upcountry, and the accommodation was pleasant and clean. It's an older hotel, clearly, but it's been looked after, and the woodwork on the doors and moldings still has some colonial charm. One thing to remember: hotels upcountry require cash.

The staff are friendly, and there's a nice terrace with a pool. It wasn't dirty, but the quality doesn't really justify the price.

I haven't actually been to the hotel. I'm trying to find its email so I can reach someone there and ask whether my husband-to-be is staying there.

Quiet spot, nice pool, pretty cool.
