4/10
The room and bathroom made this stay especially uncomfortable. Air from the AC blew straight onto the bed all night, and the bathroom had broken faucets and a faulty toilet. There was renovation work going on throughout the building, with noise and dust everywhere. Reception staff seemed annoyed by simple questions and weren’t helpful. For the money, it was a letdown, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean and good value, with AC and warm water. It looks newly renovated and was very nice. It just needs mosquito nets.

8/10
It’s quiet and inexpensive, and the staff are friendly. Ask for Kessé as your guide in and around Man. The main downside is that there’s often no running water during the dry season.

Waiting more than an hour for the food was really disappointing. I don’t eat late, so that was a problem for me.

The setup is pretty basic, and the comfort isn’t top of the range. Still, it’s worth the price.
