Moana Villa is a funky but great house on the mountainside, with an amazing view and a little rainwater pool I love. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a working kitchen and a fairly new washer. The covered deck is great in the morning, and the screened windows and doors have been wonderful in the evenings. The hot, humid, salty climate is taking its toll, though. Most of the louvers need work, the bamboo roll-down shades are all broken, some tile needs grout and a couple of screen doors are falling apart. Highly recommend.

Tamara met us at the airport and made us feel welcome. The home was beautiful, clean and in a lovely location, with breathtaking views. We were given all the essentials for our stay, including a large coffee, sugar and a large milk. We were very comfortable and would absolutely recommend it.

We especially liked the private pool, mosquito nets, fans instead of air conditioning, warm welcome and excellent airport shuttle service. The house's wooden design clings to the steep mountainside, and the balcony looks out over the Pacific Ocean. It's very spacious, but even the two of us didn't feel lost. This place was exactly to our liking. Some things in the house aren't perfect, and quite a bit could use renovation soon.
