We spent a week here and really liked being able to relax and do our own thing. The bungalow was affordable, well laid out, and had everything we needed, with plenty of fresh linen and swim towels. Snorkeling gear was available too. Nev was friendly and full of local tips, and the book at the bungalow covered useful things like shopping, transport, and medical information. There was even some basic food in the fridge and fresh fruit waiting for us, a lovely surprise.

The beach is only 200m away, with some of the best snorkelling in Rarotonga, and free snorkelling gear, filtered water, and a washing machine are provided. It's also within walking distance of the Rarotongan Hotel. The place has a nice garden deck, a good kitchen and bathroom, and the owner was friendly and obliging. One thing to know: it's tucked down a side road and there isn't a sign on the main road, so it can be hard to find.
