For a family, this was the best place to stay in Raro. We had a private home away from the crowds in a great spot. The pool was epic and warm enough to swim in all day, though a bit deep for little ones, so bring floaties or inflatables. We'll leave ours behind. It's a modern little house with all the mod cons, including air conditioning for an extra cost, worth it if you need it. There's no one close by, so it feels like a secluded island getaway. The beach is a 300 m walk, and Muri is 3-4 minutes away. Park by the yacht club or kite sup. Best coffee is almost across from the driveway, by the orange cone. Vili's Burgers is 500 m away, with a mini grocery store next to it. It's close to the fishing club, and pink tank in muri has amazing food. I'd recommend having your own car. The big resorts felt a bit overrated to us. Book with these local legends, who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
