The location couldn’t be better, and it’s great value for money. My only complaint was the hard bed. I only discovered the water filter plant just across the road outside the hall later on, so it would have been useful to know about it earlier. Moana Restaurant, 600 metres away, was a great find for delicious, reasonably priced cocktails and good food. Snorkeling right out front was as good as anywhere else on the island. There’s a supermarket across the road, scooter hire right next door, and the airport shuttle for $50/person was the best service.

The villa had everything we needed as a couple, and more. Loved its chic island feel, uncluttered interior and good airflow. The view was stunning, and it was lovely to walk down to swim at the beach. There were outdoor loungers, a hammock, a great outdoor shower and plenty of line space for laundry and drying towels between swims. It felt safe and secure. The bedside fan was a godsend, and there was a big fridge and water cooler. The deck was a cool spot to hang out and host friends and family who were also on the island. The bathroom was fab, with massive fluffy towels that felt luxurious. Having a washing machine was a plus too.
