Waterfoot House

The mornings at Waterfoot House were a treat: opening the curtains onto the beautifully kept gardens, inviting pool, and spectacular sea views. Our four-day stay at this extraordinary piece of paradise felt like a real privilege. We were welcomed with such genuine warmth that we knew straight away it would be special. The house brings together the sophistication of a high-end beach house and the relaxed feeling of a private home. Sana, the dedicated butler, was cheerful and always available to help. With so many possibilities, it would suit an intimate wedding, a small conference, or a special occasion with your nearest and dearest.

The privacy and beachside setting made Waterfoot House a wonderful place to relax, and the beautiful pool was all ours. It easily accommodates eight people across four separate bedroom villas, each with its own bathroom and deck. The main house has everything for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, and Sana the butler and caretaker can share information and look after you. Lucille, the manager, was very accommodating when we needed to change our booking and helped make everything seamless and fabulous. I was lucky to stay here a few months ago.

We spent a week at Waterfoot House and would give it more than five stars if we could. It's quiet, private, and beautiful, with the beach just steps from the pool. We loved watching waves break on the reef, and were lucky to see whales off it a few times. There are lots of separate living spaces, so it's a great option for friends or extended family to spend time together and still find some quiet. Sana, the butler and caretaker, was always around to help and even cooked us a delicious Balinese dinner. We really appreciated everything he did and his sunny personality. Lucile, the manager, is lovely to deal with and made sure our visit ran smoothly from start to finish. We can't wait to return and hopefully see them both again.

The house has a relaxed feel, and it was clean, well cared for, and comfortable without being overdone. Waterfoot House is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed, peaceful and private right by the water. The views in the morning felt surreal, and the sunsets were next-level. If you want a quiet, beautiful place in the Cook Islands to recharge, I can't recommend it enough. I'm already dreaming of going back.
