Club Social Angol

I was there for work, and my room got changed because of a management mistake. They moved me into the "presidential" room, where I found empty alcohol bottles in the closet. The following day, I came back to find the door unlocked and my laptop gone. When I told the manager, he said, "I didn't see you have a computer," and avoided taking responsibility. Hotel staff also told me they were unhappy with their poor working conditions and unpaid salaries. Save yourself a bad experience.

The new management has brought in a modern feel but kept the original style, which I loved. The rooms, menu, and service were all outstanding. 100% recommended.

The manager was really helpful, and I hope they can build a good team. I'll come back. The property is well located, spacious, and has good parking. My interaction with a maid was unpleasant, though. Some staff came across as impulsive and aggressive, with little availability for guests and no commitment to their work. I didn't deal with everyone. The chef also seems very particular, doing what she wants rather than what the manager tells her. Ugh.

At 9:00 PM, after arriving at night, we had to look for somewhere to sleep because the reception staff said there was no reservation due to a mistake. Nearly every hotel in Angol was occupied. A really bad experience.
