Breakfast was pretty ordinary, and the rooms felt standard for the price. It’s quiet, with a nice view from the dining area. The location works if you’re okay with a steep climb and being a little removed from most shops and restaurants.

It’s hard to find a hostel that’s both clean and well kept, and this was one of the cleanest hostales I’ve stayed in.

Breakfast on the second-floor terrace came with a lovely view and visits from hummingbirds. This small, clean, quaint guesthouse sits at the foot of El Morro, just three blocks from San Marcos Cathedral. The owners gave excellent service. Highly recommended.

We had plumbing problems in the bathrooms during our stay. The rooms were clean, but very hot, and a fan didn’t help. The location is good and you can get around on foot, though the hill up to it is really steep. Breakfast was ordinary for a hostel in South America.

The owners are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. Our rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable, and the internet excellent. Breakfast was very good too. It’s only steps from the museum and the Virgin Mary statue. To us, this is the best hotel in Arica, a little paradise. 100% recommended, good, nice, and cheap.
