We've been here six days and already wish we could stay longer. Hotel & Cava Estancia Rilan has just eight beautiful rooms, and the architecture is stunning. Everything is meticulously cared for, and it's wonderfully peaceful, with a lovely living room and decks where you can relax and take in the breathtaking island and sea views. Breakfast has been delicious, with hot lattes, fresh fruit, eggs, and homemade bread. We've eaten dinner here every night as the sun sets, choosing from farm/ocean to table dishes like ceviche, salads, seared tuna, oysters, and meat. Curious about the nearby, more expensive hotel, we went there for an afternoon snack and a look around. It's pretty too, but this place feels magical, and I'd choose Hotel & Cava Estancia Rilan. Monica and Rodrigo are wonderful hosts, always appearing when we need support while making us feel like we have our own home on the island. Monica's help was extraordinary: the website for booking a ferry to remote Carrera Austral was broken, but she sorted it out through local contacts, so we'll reach the ferry tomorrow with a confirmed ticket. I rarely write reviews, but this treasure deserved one. I hope you get to visit Chiloe and enjoy the island from this artistic haven. 100% recommended.

Monica, the co-owner, went out of her way to accommodate me while I worked during my travels and to meet my vegetarian needs. It felt cozy and welcoming, like a home away from home, but with a premium touch. The owners and staff were kind, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. The secluded setting made the hotel feel even more special. I also got to see the most amazing sunset ever and take showers with stunning views. This hidden gem made me wish I could stay longer.

The staff welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived. They all live in the local community and are friendly, professional, and clearly proud to help guests. Monica and Rodrigo own and run the hotel, so every detail felt attended to. Our stay was a pleasure and a lovely reminder of why we enjoy traveling.

One of our best experiences in Chile. The owners hosted us wonderfully, and the service and food were excellent. The natural architecture fits beautifully into the local landscape, and the setting has a stunning, expansive view.

The restaurant is fantastic, which is handy since the hotel sits well away from town. Castro is a long drive, but the hotel itself is beautiful, and those huge windows make the water views incredible.
