Hospedaje Ei Molo

Lovely views, friendly people, and great service with perfect attention.

We visited in mid-March. Our room and the shared areas were clean, and the place was very quiet. There were 11 rooms, but we were almost the only guests. The bed was comfortable, and the harbor view was breathtaking. Room 11 was small, though. We could barely walk around the bed. It would be better to put a heater in that room, or leave it unavailable when rooms with heaters are open. Also, listing it as “Breakfast” doesn’t make sense when all that’s provided is a kettle.

The ocean view is great, and the rooms are spacious. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the bathroom had great hot water. I was on vacation with my partner, and this was the first hostel we found in Castro. A few things could be fixed: the balcony on room 16 is loose at the ends and could cause an accident. The price is high, but everything else was excellent. I highly recommend it.

The location made it easy to explore Castro. The center is close, and the Mall, Plaza de los Trenes, several viewpoints, and the Plaza de Armas are just a short walk away. I stayed five days while visiting Castro and the surrounding area, and I’d happily return next year. My room was comfortable and warm in both winter and summer, and the service was excellent. The few conversations I had with the staff were pleasant, and I have no complaints about the attention I received.
