For context, it was about $30 a night. It’s a cheap hotel in the middle of the city, so I don’t get why some reviews expect a 6 star stay and get mad there isn’t a butler waiting. Great hotel and location!

The room was comfortable, the price reasonable, and it’s on a pedestrian street near shops and restaurants. We left too early to try breakfast. But we couldn’t get the hot water going at first, even after waiting at least 5 minutes. Maintenance told us to wait another 5, so we did. At the front desk, the woman asked if we were in room xxx and said she thought its temperature controls were reversed. Sure enough, turning it all the way to cold brought hot water. If staff know about that, they should tell everyone, or better yet, fix it. We also got stuck in the elevator, though they got us out fairly quickly. Reviews said it had been broken last December, so there are maintenance problems that need fixing. I’d stay again if it weren’t for those issues.

The rooms are quite good and more than adequate for this bungalow-style hotel. The bathrooms were the weak point, especially the shower: very low water pressure, no working hot water, and it wasn’t in great condition. The breakfast was fine, the staff quite friendly, and the location good.
