The receptionist kindly offered to bring coffee to our room, and breakfast was excellent. The building has a rich history and was clean and tidy. It’s right on the Castro waterfront. Just plan ahead for dinner, since the restaurant and café shut at 8:30 pm, as do most restaurants and bars around the city. I’d definitely come back.

I’ve just checked out, and it was a horrible experience. The service was terrible, with rudeness and little empathy, even at breakfast. There were no eggs the first morning. When I asked on the second, I got a rude response; on the third, a woman with a terrible attitude said they supposedly couldn’t cook them, and then they charged extra. I felt completely violated as a guest. I wouldn’t return even for a free stay, and I’m going to file a complaint with SERNAC (Chilean Consumer Protection Agency).
