Mi Casa is a dependable, comfortable place to stop while traveling along this part of Carretera Austral. It's an older hotel, but clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The owners are always at the front desk and ready to help, which matters in a small, remote town. Keep expectations realistic since it's not a luxury hotel, but it's well run and offers good service. A great clean stay if you're heading south. Highly recommended.

We were only stopping overnight for a morning ferry, after the place we'd booked failed to show up. Mi Casa welcomed us anyway, with friendly staff, a clean comfortable room, and a nice breakfast. I'm so grateful they quickly emailed to say I'd left my iPad, then brought it to the port to hand it over while we were far up the ferry line and loading was less than 10 minutes away. They're lovely people and real professionals. Set on a hill with a water view from the entrance, it's also a great place for a longer Carretera Austral stay.

The owners look after you personally and take time to get to know you, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. There aren't many amenities, but that's part of going way down south, right? I'd stay again.
