What I remember most is how easy it was to enjoy the place: there were plenty of spots to walk, and the husband and wife running it were lovely to talk with. The cabin was comfortable, and the food was delicious. The setting is really pretty too, with beaches, a little waterfall, sheep, lots of birds, and a few dogs and cats :) There’s no phone reception or WiFi, which turned out to be good in a lot of ways. I had a really good time.

The natural setting is still there, but the cabins have lost the quaint, welcoming feel they had 15 years ago. Back then this was a magical spot. There are now other tenants on the property doing community service and experimental farming to educate the region. It sounds like an interesting project, so look them up and sign up.

The breakfasts were incredible, made with local products by Miriam and Patricio. They were thoughtful about every detail, from the flowers and fireplace each night to working around our schedule. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, and the animal farm is wonderful. Miriam and Patricio were lovely and helped with whatever we needed, including recommendations. We enjoyed talking with them and hearing about their life and outlook in this marvelous bay. A magical place with everything you need in Patagonia. 100% recommended.
