We came across this place on a whim and were really glad we did. The owners were friendly and quick to respond, and our stay made our time in Puerto Guadal really nice. The cabaña looked brand new, with beautiful, thoughtful construction and a large shared deck. The kitchen is small but works well, and even the utensils seemed new. The WiFi is strong, and the shower has hot water with good pressure.
Everything we needed was in this beautiful, new place, and the host was charming and easy to talk to about the apartment. You can walk to the store, restaurant, and lake. I’d definitely stay here again whenever I’m in the area.
The hosts were so welcoming, and the cabaña was a great place to stay. It was spotless, brand new, beautiful, and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a big plus in the A/C. The location is great too. Our best cabaña of the whole trip in Patagonia Austral!
Paola was lovely and flexible, and the cabaña itself was one of the best I’ve stayed in in Chile. It’s spacious, clean, and fitted out with new, good quality equipment. The shower is excellent, and good quality towels are provided. There’s a spot across the street to launch a kayak or SUP, and Las Agatas beach is a three-minute walk away. Puerto Guadal is quiet, but it works well as a base for a few nights to visit Puerto Tranquilo, Bertrand, and Chile Chico. The latter is 109km away on a pretty bad road, so leave early if you want to drive there and back in one day.
