We had a lovely two-night stay. The location is amazing, with great nature walks and hikes. There were pudus everywhere, including a sweet one sleeping in the ferns under our window, and we even saw a guina, a melanistic one! The food was delicious, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The forest and lake trails are easy to walk, and one leads to an amazing cascade. The lodge sits in beautiful surroundings inside a national park, reached by a few kilometers of easy off-road trail through luxuriant forest. It’s warm and tasteful, a lovely place to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, and good value for what it offers. The hotel is partly renovated and can feel a little old in places, but it’s comfortable and well designed. Everyone we met, from the guide to the chef and waiter, was kind and cheerful. Dinner was nice, with warm, authentic meals.

The hotel is made entirely of wood, and the food was delicious, with a great chef. There are several walking paths, and the money goes toward preserving nature, which we’re happy to support. The room wasn’t especially fancy, though, and for the price we expected a bit more. It’s easier to accept that when you know the money supports conservation. Remember there’s also a tax. We thought it was included, so that was an unpleasant surprise at the end. Even so, we really enjoyed our stay.

The view is amazing, and the service was excellent. I had lunch with my family at the restaurant. They offer some nice vegan options, though it’s a bit pricey.
