I had a hard time with the reception staff, who came across as unpleasant and unhelpful. At check-in, they seemed set on making me pay IVA and insisted on credit cards in US dollars, with no debit cards. From what I understand, that isn't even legal. Luckily, I had CLP cash. When I left, they said no buses went to the airport, but Moovit showed one stopping right in front of the building. The room had some good points: the bed was extremely comfortable, the sheets were good quality, and the bathroom had a really decent sized shower. But the cheap woodwork was falling apart. A mixed bag.

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were cozy, the location was great, and the cleaning service and coffee were excellent. The staff were kind overall. Sophia was especially helpful with check-in and arranging an early morning taxi. Had a lovely stay!

The room was tiny, and the bathroom only had liquid soap, no shampoo, conditioner, other toiletries, or hand towel. At check-in, Sofia had a stone faced look and didn't greet me. I told her I have a hearing problem, but she kept talking quietly about the WiFi in the room, so I couldn't hear or understand. When I asked her to repeat it, she still spoke very softly. I asked for a manager and she said there wasn't one there right then. Sofia was very rude and shouldn't be at reception. The man standing next to her acted the same way. This was my worst hotel experience. Never staying at IBIS hotels again. Shame on you!

The room was quite nice, and things seemed fine at first. Then I noticed the toilet kept running and reported it to reception. They said they’d fix it, but when I came back six hours later, it was still going and had wasted a lot of water. I didn’t want to make a big issue of it, so I called reception again just to give them a gentle heads-up.
