B&B Santa Laura Concon

The room was cozy and had a view across the whole beach. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and there was a clothes rack, blackout curtains, and a small closet. The bathroom was roomy and came with towels, soap, and body wash. We got a very warm welcome, and having access to the coastal road and Santa Laura was a nice extra. Wi-Fi was available too. A few practical things could be better. The booking page should say there are only two parking spaces, since our pickup truck wouldn't fit. We had to use the free municipal parking lot. Cups, plates, a mini-fridge, and a kettle were provided, but there was no sink for dishes, just the bathroom sink. Some cleaning service would help, especially since the bathroom wastebasket was the only bin. A broom and dustpan in the room would also make it easier to keep things tidy.

We had a very comfortable room with a direct view of the sea and easy access to the beach. Restaurants and the waterfront were close by, and the service was very good. Excellent stay.

The toilet was already clogged when we arrived, with toilet paper floating in it. They tried to fix it but couldn't, and dealing with that was inconvenient enough that we left and might look elsewhere next time. The room itself was lovely, with a beautiful beach view, and the staff were attentive. I did miss having a closet or anywhere to store clothes. The bathroom problem really should have been handled before guests arrived.

That sagging bed was awful. We woke up with unbearable pain in our necks and backs, and for the price I don't think what you get is fair. I personally wouldn't return. The cabins are in a great spot, with everything within walking distance, and the ocean view is excellent, though you can't see the sunset. There was a mini-bar, hot shower water, and cable TV, but no kettle or hair dryer. Since the website says you can't bring appliances, we'd have had to go out and buy something hot for breakfast or afternoon tea.
