The five dogs were gentle and affectionate, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's fine for a night while passing through, but the cleanliness needs work. Under the bed was dirty and full of feathers.

Service is excellent, with a real focus on guests, and the value for money is good. It's a quiet place, though driving in from the main street can be tricky because of traffic. Waze and Google Maps currently direct you along a one-way route as you approach the property. That's not the accommodation's fault, but it's useful to know.

The bedrooms were like ovens, and the only person who was friendly was the owner's partner, since she said no to everything. During our 5-night stay, we weren't allowed to enter the kitchen and had to ask the hosts for everything, even heating milk or getting food. We could use the common room only until 11:59 pm, then were told to leave. The gate and main door stayed locked, and only the hosts had keys. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it for families or anyone traveling with children.

I stayed with my family. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and the house's rustic feel made for a peaceful trip. It would be better with air conditioning, and I think the breakfast could be improved.
