Hotel Portal del Norte

After a day of meetings, I went to the hotel hoping to relax, but reception couldn't find a reservation in my name. I was told every single and double room was taken and only a triple room was left. I felt awful and completely disoriented. I eventually found a room at a nearby hostel after making a phone call. I'd booked by phone the previous Wednesday. Two young women were helpful and said single rooms were available. They hesitated, then explained those rooms were being renovated and offered me a double for the single-room price. I trusted them, gave my details, and asked whether I needed to confirm anything. One of them told me not to worry and that I should just cancel when I arrived. Managers, please be careful about who handles reservations.

It's quiet here, so you can relax, and the breakfast is delicious. Everyone is friendly and pleasant. Luz is lovely, and the maids are a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere is pleasant and the place is clean.

For a very good price, you get a clean, comfortable hotel with the needed amenities and outstanding service.

I was very happy with my stay and enjoyed the services. The accommodation is well worth the price, and the facilities are very good. Staff were attentive, and the hotel was clean and secure with excellent service. 100% recommended, and I hope to return.
