The biggest downside for me was the location. It’s walkable into town, but takes time, while some hotels are right in the center. The hotel itself was perfectly nice, with clean, standard rooms, a good plentiful breakfast, and helpful, friendly front desk staff. I just prefer a smaller boutique feel that’s more connected to the town. It really comes down to what you like.

The staff were the bright spot, especially Farid, Floor, and Allan. They were extremely kind and tried hard to help, and the bedrooms and mattresses were amazing. Still, I came expecting to use the sauna and pool, since the hotel is known for them. When we arrived, we were told they’d been out of order for a week, even though a call a few days earlier had assured us everything worked. We didn’t have enough time to arrange another hotel, so couldn’t cancel, and they kept the same price despite those facilities being unavailable. It was sunny and hot that day, and the rooms felt very warm without AC, though we were moved to a room in a better location. I felt bad for the staff having to deal with the complaints.

The WiFi was super fast, and the rooms were clean, though basic. Breakfast was okay too. All good, but not worth the $130 I paid.

The rooms are large, the beds are good, and the staff were helpful. Oddly, they provide three pillows instead of four. Also, there’s no elevator.
