Malancahuelo is absolutely beautiful, and staying in the forest made the whole visit special. Our two-bedroom cabin was roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Alexandro was helpful right from our first WhatsApp message, and as resort manager he stayed friendly and quick to help throughout our summer 2026 stay. He also gave us lots of ideas for things to do nearby. We loved both the cabin and the resort.

The location is lovely and really close to the ski resort, but the futon my son had to sleep on was unbearable. The cabin also needed more care: the sheets were torn, parts were generally run down, the wood stove had no damper, and the shower head didn't work.

We found it a lovely spot to unwind, with the cabins and scenery working so well together. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the service was excellent. There are restaurants across the street and the ski resort is nearby. Highly recommended.

The cabins are fine for what they need to do, but the manager could be more attentive and cordial with guests. Feeling welcome and treated well matters a lot in customer service, especially for places like this. I compare it with another stay I had earlier in the Malalcahuello area, where the staff were much friendlier and the service was far better.

We got in at night and the cabin was already warm, with the stove lit. The place was really comfortable and nice, and the customer service deserves a 7 out of 7. Definitely recommend it.
