The food was good, and the service was too. While recovering from a motorcycle crash, my wife and I stayed here for four days, and the whole staff took wonderful care of us. They were incredibly kind and helpful. We were treated like family, and we won't forget it. The place sits at the edge of the city, but with all the large trees around the property keeping the wind down, it feels like you're out in the country. A cab or Uber gets you to the heart of town in just a few minutes. The owners and management have several generations of history in this area, know this part of the world extremely well, and are well connected with tour companies. They can advise you on what you need to know.

We held a school graduation dinner here, but the meal wasn't tasty. The meat was badly cooked, and the rustic potatoes served with it hadn't been washed well. The vegetarian option was just a bowl of quinoa. For the price, it really wasn't worth it.

I found the accommodation on Booking.com for USD 178 for 2 nights. When I contacted them directly, they quoted USD 370, or USD 185 per night, and called it a 'discount'. I said I'd book through their website since it was cheaper, and within minutes they raised the original platform price from USD 178 to USD 396. It felt like outrageous price manipulation. I don't recommend them at all.

The place is beautiful, almost like a museum, and Gladys's service was spectacular. She was attentive every time we arrived, morning or night, as if she never rested. The price felt a bit high for the facilities, though. The shower was bad and the tub was clogged, but they fixed it as soon as we told them. There was no hairdryer, which you really need in Punta Arenas's climate.
