Cabañas Horizonte Azul

We were in Cabin 21 with an ocean view, but the yard was full of cigarette butts and nobody sweeps it. We even saw a little mouse out there. The bathrooms showed no care for cleanliness, and there was a disgusting sewage smell. There were annoying noises too. We were told music would stop by midnight at the latest, but foreigners were playing it until 4 a.m.

On arrival the place looked nice, but the room was dirty. The refrigerator was in poor condition, smelled bad, and didn’t work. The front window was taken apart and wouldn’t close; the back windows had no locks and didn’t shut properly. The spiral staircase isn’t suitable for elderly people. They offered us another room, but after seeing all that, it wasn’t a good option. They refused to return our deposit, saying we took too long to check out. We won’t return or recommend it.

It’s a nice place with a big pool, but the cabins are neglected and the mattresses are old and dirty. There’s no empathy, and people are always blasting music through loud speakers.

It’s easy to get to and around, and the place itself is comfortable, but our cabin needed cleaning. The walls are thin, so you hear everything next door. People shouted and played loud music, and reception did nothing. There’s a pool and jacuzzi area next door where lots of foreigners yelled and played music at very high volume. We couldn’t rest or even hear the sea, despite being close to it.
