Booking ahead was easy, and there are shops and services close by, including a supermarket, greengrocer, and bus terminal. The inn has everything you need. I’d definitely recommend it! 👍

The house was dirty and clearly hadn't been prepared for guests. There was debris all over, no gas canisters, and some lights were broken or missing, among plenty of other problems. The landlord's service was terrible. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place.

The photos make the place look decent, but that wasn't what we found. The whole house was in poor condition, with awful lighting and dampness almost everywhere. The kitchen freezer smelled putrid, so we couldn't use it. The beds were old and rusty, and the disgusting mattresses seemed to be infested with bugs, possibly bedbugs. We ended up spending a whole day disinfecting ourselves. There was no care taken to disinfect or properly hand over the house, and the terrible service didn't match the excessive rent. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The beaches around El Tabo aren't good for swimming, with lots of rocks and seaweed. The house itself is conveniently located near the bus terminal, grocery stores, liquor shops, a supermarket, an amusement park, and craft stalls. Before our arrival, cleaning was left to the previous tenants, and nobody sanitized the place. The house smelled of fish, rotten fish remains were in the fridge, and both the fridge and floor tiles were dirty. I didn't get a chance to tell the landlord before the deposit was due. There also weren't enough decent dining items, and they doubled up when we had soup. The house needs urgent work: the rooms need paint, the foam mattresses should be replaced because they have bedbugs, and the nailed-down screens feel like they could break. The fridge was noisy and leaking, the door locks were bad and handles were put on instead of fixing them, and the bathroom curtain rods were rusty. We had trouble with the bank transferring the remaining money. The landlord needs to improve how she deals with people. She got agitated and shouted over the phone, threatening to kick us out if we didn't deposit the money within five minutes. The owner's answer was to give us an extra day.
