Miguel at the front desk was lovely, and the place was clean and well located in downtown punta arenas. It's quiet and feels more like a hotel than a hostel, with comfortable beds and no bunks, though it isn't very social. Cars passing on the main street can be noisy, so I wish I'd asked for a room at the back. Breakfast wasn't anything special. I'd recommend it to a friend.

The staff were fabulous and went out of their way to help, and the shared bathrooms were clean. Our private room faced the street, so it got plenty of sunlight. It's a nice hostel in downtown Punta Arenas, though breakfast was just so-so.

It's a decent spot for the price, with a great location, but the rooms need work. Noise from the neighbors was an issue, and the bathroom wasn't good, with no water pressure and repairs needed. It could be better.

The room had a bed, and the staff were nice, so I gave it three stars instead of one. But don't expect to sleep. The balcony lets in plenty of ambient light, and there's no soundproofing against the engines revving and tires screeching on the street. The noise of a midnight race can go on from 2-6 AM. A real vroom-vroom nightmare.

I had a great time here. The host was so friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was awesome. It was comfortable, and breakfast was great too. I really recommend Hostal Ochen. Thanks so much, guys 👏🏼🙌🏼
